Media: Packaging

Purpose: Release Party

Language: Neutral

Derivative: Ubuntu

Release: 10.04 Lucid Lynx

Every CD needs a case for storage. It's used to identify it and to protect it from scratches. Your Ubuntu 10.04 CD should be no exception, but plastic CD or DVD cases are bulky and expensive, especially if they are needed to give out to other people. This case is easy to make and only requires one sheet of A4 card or paper - just print off the .pdf file in the source pack.

Great for yourself, even better for sharing!

The design is based on the original CD concept for the Lucid release. Don't forget to vote or send comments! All advice is much appreciated.

Thank you for your comment. The package has been updated with a GIMP .xcf file for editing.

Thanks for the switch to an open format, but I actually was talking about the fact that the psd and xcf are not layered.

I know that this one is the official packaging, so I don't know if the real source is floating around anywhere.

We try to use layered files so that they can be modified and translated easily.

It doesn't really matter though. I'd rather have a printable version of this than none at all.

.xcf is in layers

the .xcf file is in many layers.
This is a great idea ,
thanks so much. <3
